“The China-Pakistan relationship is strong, but its digital visibility must grow so that Pakistan’s youth fully appreciates the depth of this friendship,” Mr. Shi stated.
He also expressed the Embassy’s willingness to facilitate future influencer visits to China, allowing them to witness the country’s technological and economic progress firsthand.

Briefing on China’s Development Achievements & CPEC
Embassy officials delivered an in-depth presentation on China’s poverty alleviation success, which has lifted over 800 million people out of poverty, describing it as one of humanity’s greatest achievements. They also addressed Western disinformation and encouraged Pakistani digital leaders to advocate for balanced and fact-based narratives.
A major portion of the dialogue focused on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which officials called a “joint child” of both nations. They dismissed speculation about CPEC’s slowdown, emphasizing that Phase II would open new opportunities for youth, startups, and digital innovators.
