In a remarkable achievement, the Pakistani team clinched two bronze medals at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) held in Astana, Kazakhstan, from July 7–14. Ms. Zoha Asif from Nixor College, Karachi, and Mr. Soban Safdar from FFC Grammar School, Mirpur Mathelo, were the proud recipients of the bronze medals for Pakistan at IBO 2024. The Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development is set to secure work permits for Pakistani citizens in Iraq.
