Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad has achieved a significant milestone by securing the top spot among Pakistani universities in the Times World University Rankings 2024, claiming the 401st global position. These rankings utilize THE’s WUR 3.0 methodology, evaluating institutions based on 18 carefully calibrated performance indicators across five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook. The extensive evaluation process encompassed 1,904 universities spanning 108 countries and regions. Quaid-i-Azam University notably earned the 227th position for research quality. KarachiHeadquarters Civil Aviation Authority 02 October 2023 Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport welcomed SalamAir’s inaugural flight as it arrived in the historic city of Peshawar. Airline’s inaugural Muscat-Peshawar flight touched down in the wee hours (03:13 a.m.) this morning. The inaugural flight was given the traditional water salute by airport’s RFFS’s fire tenders as it taxied on the taxiway-B. SalamAir’s Managing Director and Director of Operations arrived on the same flight too.
