In a collaborative effort with Tehsildars (Recovery), Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has achieved the retrieval of over Rs 25 million from nearly 1,000 dormant defaulters across five districts: Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara, during a 31-day recovery campaign. Data released on Thursday reveals that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) witnessed a weekly increase of $31 million in its foreign exchange reserves, reaching a total of $7.64 billion as of October 6.
