Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a visit to Saudi Arabia as Pakistan sends top cabinet officials for the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII) scheduled for October 29-30 in Riyadh, to promote global investment and sustainable development.
This year’s FII theme, “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” will be focused on areas that shape the future of global economies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, healthcare, finance, space, and sustainability.
PM Shehbaz is likely to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, among other high-ranking officials, to discuss cooperation on the economic, energy, and defense sectors. Islamabad lays emphasis on strengthening relations with Riyadh, he adds.
Parallelly, the prime minister will engage with international leaders and business people, finding ways to make the best of the changing world. The visit signifies Pakistan’s efforts in building robust partnerships with Saudi Arabia, coupled with a desire to engage with the ambitious Vision 2030 agenda of the country for mutual growth and progress.
