Ghulam Qadir, the Commercial Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, announced that Pakistan will participate as the guest of honor in the 8th Silk Road International Exhibition, which is set to take place in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, from September 20 to 24.
Qadir highlighted the strengthening ties between Pakistan and Shaanxi in various fields, including economy, trade, energy, agriculture, education, and sister city relationships. He noted that during a recent visit to Xi’an, the Pakistani Prime Minister expressed a strong desire to enhance these exchanges, with a particular focus on economic cooperation.
Pakistan’s participation as the guest of honor is expected to significantly boost pragmatic cooperation in multiple sectors. A large Pakistani delegation will attend the event, showcasing a diverse range of products to strengthen ties and explore new avenues for collaboration, as reported by China Economic Net.
