Imaad Khan, a skilled football player and sports club owner, has made history by becoming the first Pakistani to secure a master’s degree in football coaching and management from the prestigious Real Madrid Graduate School. Khan, who has been passionate about football since the age of ten, was part of Pakistan’s national team during their 2016 tour of Sri Lanka. He runs a sports club and football academy in Islamabad.
In 2022, Khan enrolled for his master’s degree, having been accepted to the Real Madrid Graduate School in 2016 but unable to attend due to financial constraints. He was later sponsored by the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD) Foundation, which enabled his enrollment.
“This is how graduation at Real Madrid looks like,” Khan captioned a video on Instagram, showing him at his graduation ceremony in Spain. The BARD Foundation celebrated Khan’s achievement on social media, highlighting his distinction in the program.
Real Madrid, one of the world’s most popular football clubs, enjoys significant popularity in Pakistan, where cricket is the dominant sport. Khan has expressed his desire to work with young football talent in Pakistan, particularly with the under-18 and under-16 teams.
