On Thursday, the Pakistani rupee appreciated by 07 paisa against the US dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs 278.17 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.10.
In the open market, according to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the dollar’s buying and selling rates were Rs 279 and Rs 280.50 respectively.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported that the Euro’s value increased by Rs 1.1, closing at Rs 304.94 from the last day’s closing of Rs 302.94.
The Japanese yen gained 02 paisa to close at Rs 1.78. The British Pound also saw an increase of 60 paisa, trading at Rs 361.56 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 360.96.
Additionally, the exchange rates for the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal increased by 02 paisa each, closing at Rs 75.73 and Rs 74.16 respectively.
