Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, has called for the establishment of scout units in all private and public educational institutions to help nurture good citizens.
“There is no better forum for training the new generation than scouting around the world,” Wani stated. While addressing the opening ceremony of the one-day commissioner forum organized by the Islamabad Boys Scout Association (IBSA), he emphasized the importance of establishing scout units in all educational institutions to develop good citizens.
He explained that the elimination of exams up to the fifth grade in the federal capital aims to alleviate children’s fear of exams and move away from rote learning, instead focusing on teaching life skills that will make them valuable and effective members of society.
Wani believes that by adopting this approach, students can become beneficial and productive citizens. He also instructed the integration of all senior scouts in the federal capital, who are now responsible for various sectors.
IBSA Provincial Commissioner Tariq Aleem Gul presented his welcome speech and the four-year report.
