Pakistan is among the 12 teams that have secured their spots in the T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament will feature 20 teams divided into four groups. India and Sri Lanka have already claimed the first two spots as hosts.
The remaining 10 spots were determined through Super Eight qualifiers in 2024 and T20I team rankings. Teams like Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, the West Indies, and USA have also secured their places.
Pakistan qualified based on their T20I ranking (7th), joining New Zealand (6th) and Ireland (11th) in the next edition. The final eight teams will be decided through regional qualifiers, with Africa, Asia, and Europe having two spots each, while Americas and East-Asia Pacific regions will have one spot each.
