The Islamabad International Airport outsourcing process is moving quickly according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Director General Khaqan Murtaza of the CAA presided over a meeting to review the status of outsourcing the nation’s main airports.
A briefing on the Islamabad airport outsourcing plan is slated for tomorrow, and Turkey has indicated interest in it. Local groups and investors from several countries, such as Germany, France, and the UAE, are also enthusiastic about the outsourcing possibilities.
The airports in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi were previously decided to be outsourced by the federal government. Pakistani diplomats were instructed by Khawaja Muhammad Asif to actively connect with interested parties.
