The ceremony, held on February 12, 2026, recognized PPL’s significant social responsibility footprint, underscored by a substantial contribution of Rs. 4.7 billion during the 2024-25 period.
The award was presented by the Honourable Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi, alongside the Federal Minister for the Board of Investment, Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh. Receiving the accolade on behalf of the company was PPL’s Manager of Corporate Communications & Community Development, Ms. Ayesha Javed, in the presence of NFEH President Mr. Naeem Qureshi and PPL Board Director Mr. Mian Imtiazuddin.

She detailed how PPL’s diverse CSR program—spanning education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, skill development, and digital literacy—is strategically aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure transformative impacts within underserved communities.
The 18th Annual CSR Summit served as a high-level platform for policymakers, corporate leaders, and practitioners to exchange best practices. The event focused on the integration of SDG and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into core business strategies, reinforcing PPL’s position as a leader in sustainable and inclusive growth within Pakistan’s corporate sector.
