RIYADH, January 12, 2026 – Ahead of the official opening of the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) 2026, the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, H.E. Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, visited the Pakistan Pavilion, praising it as a visually impactful highlight of the event. Noting its significant enhancement over previous years, the Minister described the pavilion as a premier showcase for the global mining community.
Leading the “Mineral Revolution” The Pakistan Pavilion, themed “The Mineral Marvel,” has already emerged as a center of attention for international investors. Organized by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) as the Lead Partner on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, the exhibit features interactive displays and the newly launched National Minerals Data Center, a digital portal designed to modernize mineral governance.
On the sidelines of the pre-forum activities, Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met with H.E. Bandar Al-Khorayef to discuss strengthening the mineral value chain between the two brotherly nations. Minister Malik emphasized that Pakistan is ready to “unleash its potential” and contribute to the global mineral supply.
On January 14 Pakistan will host a 90-minute dedicated session featuring a cinematic film on the country’s mineral wealth and a panel discussion with global leaders, including representatives from Barrick Gold. At the Ministerial Roundtable Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik will join global counterparts to discuss the resurgence of the mining sector.
Leadership from prominent companies such as Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Mari Energies, Government Holdings (Private) Limited, Frontier Works Organization, Pakistan Minerals (Private) Limited, Saindak Metals Limited, Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation, Balochistan Mineral Resource Limited, Bolan Mining Enterprises, Globacore Minerals Limited, and Balochistan Mineral Exploration Company, along with service providers such as Biafo Industries Limited, will be part of the Pakistan delegation at FMF.

The FMF 2026 serves as a strategic curtain-raiser for the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum (PMIF), scheduled for April 2026 in Islamabad.
