Seres has delivered exciting news for electric vehicle (EV) enthusiasts, unveiling a substantial price reduction for its locally assembled Seres 3 EV. Aligned with the company’s commitment to advancing sustainable mobility in Pakistan, the announcement attributes the price drop to the appreciation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar and adjustments in EV duty levies.
The Seres 3 EV’s new ex-factory price stands at Rs. 8,390,000, marking a notable decrease of Rs. 809,000 from the previous Rs. 9,199,000. Additionally, the booking price has been revised to Rs. 250,000 from Rs. 300,000, with deliveries scheduled for April 2024. These changes take effect from December 20, 2023.
The company has provided specific terms and conditions, emphasizing that the prices include taxes and dealer commission. Any future adjustments due to fluctuations in exchange rates, government levies, or import policies will be the responsibility of the customer. The stated prices are provisional and may change without prior notice, with the applicable rate at the time of delivery.
Existing customers who have already booked the Seres 3 will automatically benefit from the updated pricing. The vehicle boasts impressive specifications, featuring dimensions of 4385mm length, 1850mm width, and 1650mm height. With a wheelbase of 2655mm, it offers ample space for a five-seater crossover. Exterior highlights include an electronic panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps with DRLs, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Seres 3 EV’s interior is equally remarkable, showcasing leather upholstery, a multi-informational display, automatic AC with climate control, and a 25-inch touchscreen audio and smartphone connectivity system. Driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sports), a wireless charger, and safety features like a 360-view camera further enhance the appeal of this electric marvel in the Pakistani automotive market.
