With international petrol prices witnessing a decline of $5.49 per barrel, the caretaker federal government in Pakistan is anticipated to alleviate the burden on the public in the upcoming fortnightly review of fuel prices.
Reports indicate a potential reduction of Rs13 per litre in petrol prices. Presently, petrol is priced at Rs281.34 per litre, and diesel at Rs289.79 per litre.
If the expected adjustments materialize, the revised rates would be Rs268.34 per litre for petrol and Rs274.79 per litre for diesel, reflecting the global trend in falling oil prices.
