The Punjab Police has initiated the recruitment process for male and female intelligence operators, inviting candidates from all corners of the province. A total of 225 positions are available, and successful applicants will be deployed to various Special Branches across Punjab.
To promote gender diversity, the recruitment process allocates a 15 percent quota for female candidates and a 5 percent quota for minorities. Applicants must have a domicile in any district of Punjab and hold at least an intermediate degree.
Eligible candidates, regardless of gender, within the age range of 18 to 25 years, are encouraged to submit their applications. The application window opened today and will close on December 20, 2023.
Prospective intelligence operators can obtain the application form from the official Punjab Police website. Completed forms must be submitted at designated Regional Offices of the Special Branch, strategically distributed across various locations, including Sheikhupura, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sahiwal, and DG Khan. This distribution aims to streamline the application process and accommodate candidates from different parts of the province.
The recruitment drive reflects the Punjab Police’s commitment to bolstering its intelligence infrastructure and maintaining a robust presence in all Special Branches. Intelligence operators play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing information essential for upholding law and order across the region.
This initiative not only addresses the need for skilled personnel in intelligence but also emphasizes inclusivity through gender and minority quotas. The strategic placement of Regional Offices facilitates accessibility for applicants, contributing to a comprehensive and efficient recruitment process that aligns with the broader goal of strengthening intelligence capabilities within the Punjab Police force.
