Celebrating his recent triumph at the Thailand Space Plus Arena in Bangkok, Pakistani boxer Usman “The Asian Boy” Wazeer secured victory in his International Ranking fight against Thailand’s Namchai Singmansak.
The bout concluded dramatically in the third round when Wazeer delivered a knockout punch, causing his Thai opponent to drop to the floor and prompting the referee to halt the match.
Boasting an impressive record of 12-0, Wazeer holds titles as the WBC Middle-East, ABF Welterweight, and WBA Asia Welterweight Champion. Notably, he made history by becoming the first Pakistani to claim the WBO Youth Welterweight Championship last year. Out of his twelve victories, Wazeer has achieved eight through knockouts, maintaining an undefeated status.
Looking ahead, Wazeer sets his sights on the IBF Continental Championship, aiming to secure a spot in the IBF top 10 rankings. Standing in his path to welterweight supremacy is Terrence Crawford, the current WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF, and Ring champion with an impressive record of 40 wins and no losses, including 31 knockouts.
At 23 years old, Wazeer has time on his side, and with the right training and strategic matches, he aspires to challenge and eventually surpass Crawford, marking his ascent to the pinnacle of the welterweight division in the coming years.
