The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has introduced a groundbreaking reform by digitizing its human resource operations through the newly launched Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS).
According to the Central Police Office, the HRMIS will serve as a comprehensive platform to maintain digital service records of all police personnel across the province. The system will cover:
- Postings and transfers
- Recruitments and retirements
- Promotions and training
- Disciplinary actions
Officials highlighted that the move to a digital framework will streamline administration, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance transparency across the force.
One of the standout features of HRMIS is its capacity to identify ghost employees, a long-standing challenge that has undermined credibility in public institutions. By addressing this issue, the KP Police expects to improve accountability, strengthen internal systems, and build greater public trust.
Authorities emphasized that this initiative marks a significant step toward modern policing standards, ensuring that the force is better equipped to manage its personnel effectively and deliver improved services to the public.
